The X-800C subwoofer supports full-range cinema speakers with 1,240 watts of visceral low-end punch, for bone-shaking bass in every seat. It delivers supreme power, intelligibility, and clarity in the 20–200 Hz range—reproducing the deepest rumbles and the sharpest thunder cracks with ease.

PURPOSE-BUILT FOR CINEMA

Theatres, post facilities, and dub stages all trust in the X-800C’s crisp transient reproduction, linearity, and excellent phase coherence for smooth transitioning from screen channels to low-frequency effects (LFE). The X-800C is THX certified, and its premium birch plywood cabinet is coated with a durable, textured low-gloss finish and is handle-free for a sleek profile behind cinema screens.

FOCUS ON FIDELITY

The X-800C houses two long-excursion, high-efficiency 18-inch drivers in an optimally tuned, vented enclosure, delivering clear, punchy transients all the way down to 20 Hz—even at very high levels. Sophisticated onboard processing includes phase and frequency-response-correction filters; output rolls off below 250 Hz, avoiding potential comb-filtering effects.

ENGINEERED FOR EXTENDED LIFE

An internal two-channel class AB/H amplifier with complementary MOSFET output stages supplies a total output of 1,240 Watts (2,480 Watts peak), providing ample headroom to accommodate the lowest frequencies of even the most extreme digital soundtracks.

The X-800C’s self-powered design makes installation a breeze, while a laser-trimmed differential input with high common-mode rejection enables long line-level signal runs using shielded twisted-pair cable. Once online, the IntelligentAC power supply provides automatic voltage selection, EMI filtering, soft current turn-on, and surge suppression.

A host of patented onboard processing technologies, including a TruPower limiter on each amp channel, work behind the scenes to protect the X-800C’s components from damage and deliver reliable results. As with all Meyer Sound powered speakers, the X-800C is compatible with optional RMS Windows software that enables remote monitoring of system parameters over a network.
